Biography

A native of Alpharetta, Georgia, Natalie attended Vanderbilt University, graduating in 3.5 years with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Policy and Environmental Science. Interested in a career in public service, she received her Juris Doctor from Georgia State University College of Law. It was in law school where she developed her passion for working with high school students through her work as an SAT/ACT tutor for an elite, nationally-recognized tutoring company. She was recognized for her outstanding results with students on multiple occasions and, upon graduation from law school, continued working with the company as a tutor and enrollment advisor, helping to connect students with a tutoring plan designed to meet their needs. During this time, she also served as an alumni interviewer for Vanderbilt for 4 admissions cycles.
Natalie took a 2-year break from education to serve as a public defender in the Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit, managing a caseload of over 250 felonies. She eventually came to view her job as a form of education: educating her clients so that they could exercise some agency in what their outcome would be in the criminal justice system. While her time as a PD was rewarding, she took advantage of an opportunity to join a college counseling practice based out of California, where she was mentored and advised by one of the most respected and experienced independent educational consultants in the nation. She received a certificate in college counseling from UCLA Extension and is a member of the Southern Association for College Admission Counseling.
She transitioned to a solo practice, founding College 10. She is excited to be working with students both in Atlanta and all over the United States, and she is grateful for those who have mentored her along the way. Her experience with students across the nation has provided her with insight into and experience with colleges big and small, known and unknown.
In her free time, Natalie can be found on the tennis court. She is an avid Formula 1 fan and attends one Grand Prix per year. She also enjoys baking and spending time with her family and dog, James.
She is excited to grow her practice and add to the College10 family. To get in touch and learn more, head over to the contact page!
